We use high-density powder flow technology, usually only used in vertical plants. Our horizontal lines have the flexibility to service extrusions of all sizes and shapes to fulfil customer needs.

Each of our plants has the exclusive ATE Pure Powder flow system surrounding the booth areas. This innovative system contains the surrounding electromagnetic fields, allowing the latest Gema electrostatic guns to provide a smoother finish with greater penetration.

The ATE Pure Powder flow system significantly enhances the quality of our Powder Coating service, ensuring a superior finish.

New Evergrain^® Woodgrain Powder-on-powder finishes

With the latest technology in woodgrain finishing, new machines have been installed in Sydney and Melbourne. AAF now provides the highest quality of touch, feel, and durability for woodgrain finishes.

The new powder-on-powder Evergrain® process provides true durability, a unique touch and feel and beautiful finishes for inside or external applications.

Special powders are needed in the process, and AAF has partnered with DULUX to use only the most durable, highest-grade architectural powder coatings.

The general market for powder-coated woodgrain finishes uses sublimation and ink penetration. The AAF Evergrain® process is a pure powder coating process, far more durable, and supported by external warranties of up to 25 years.

Its finish is excellent for our customers who can on-sell products with long-term benefits and is a great choice for sustainability.

The AAF Evergrain® process has the capacity for extrusion lengths and sheet machines.

Terra Rossa COlour Collection AND ANODISING FACILITIES

We have expanded our AAF Evershield® High-Grade Anodising range. Our new Terra Rossa collection includes eight unique copper anodised aluminium finishes inspired by Australia's Red Earth. These bring even higher architectural appeal to the most durable finish available.

Also unique to AAF Evershield®, our Illustro range of lustres is becoming increasingly popular.

The latest technology for colouring processes helps our anodising facilities deliver our great range of colours and lustres.

Where facade matching is important, Anodising colour consistency requires a quality substrate. AAF can pretest metal consistently and measure loads with photo spectrometers.
