WestConnex Motorway Control Centre - A Case Study

We are proud to announce AAF’s recent involvement in the iconic WestConnex Motorway Control Centre. The WestConnex master plan – Australia’s biggest road project to date and the Control Centre is based at St Peters interchange. It will be the heart of the recently opened M8, and in future the M4-M5 link and M6. The new M8 development features twin 9km motorway, from Kingsgrove to St Peters and was opened to traffic in July 2020.

WestConnex M8 provides major travel time savings of up to 30 minutes between Liverpool and Sydney’s southern CBD, while minimising the long-term impact on community and the environment. The project improves access to the Inner West, Central Sydney and to key transport hubs at Sydney Airport and Port Botany.
